A larger section of people consumes either processed or fast food which deteriorates health and this is rather prominent amongst the youth. This trend has come into existence on the account of factors such as work load and massive influence from social media and advertisements however, certain steps can be taken into consideration to curb this situation.
To commence with, firstly the road to success often takes the youth away from homes to secure and flourish their careers which requires indefinite work hours and their health takes that toll as they solely rely upon packed food and sometimes fast food so that they can get back to work quickly leaving them no time to prepare nutrition rich healthy meal. Secondly, youngsters do get persuaded by the lifestyle projected on several social media platforms and inevitable world of advertisements where eating junk showcased as food is befitting to a prosperous healthy living. For example, 41% of the young corporates eat street or packed food regularly as per the report published by ‘The New York Times’ quite recently.
However, in order to mitigate this rising epidemic, governments of many nations have taken this step into consideration of reducing working hours weekly so that the workforce especially youngsters can take care of their health focusing more on their enrichment through food. And at this behest, the companies’ management also have come up with healthy alternatives to fast food. Furthermore, governments and many organizations have started seminars to educate people about the harms of consuming unhealthy food frequently to steer away the impact of social media and advertisements on people.
To conclude, an intact health must be the priority of all and with some relaxation on the front of work and career along with prudent guidance by the governments, people can start eating healthy and lead to a better future.

Scientists shoulder a moral obligation to employ their knowledge and expertise for the greater good. This entails addressing pressing global challenges like climate change, disease prevention, and poverty eradication. The expedited development of COVID-19 vaccines exemplifies this ethical commitment. Scientists worldwide joined forces to protect lives and minimize the societal impact of the pandemic, showcasing the immense potential of science to serve humanity in times of crisis.
